The Aevum Bridge Collector’s Spinning Top Set is a complete hand-finished display and performance set, built around the elegance of a precision spinning top and the quiet magic of careful adjustment.
At the centre of the set is Velouria II No. 51, an early numbered Velouria II bronze spinning top. It is paired with a custom cast brass spinning arena, a concave glass spinning surface, and the hand-finished Aevum Bridge cradle.
The Aevum Bridge sits above the spinning top and uses a finely adjustable magnetic thumb screw to tune the interaction between the top and the cradle. With patient adjustment, the top can be brought into a controlled sweet spot where the motion becomes calmer, steadier, and almost suspended beneath the bridge.
Each cast component is shaped, sanded, polished, and finished by hand. Small variations, subtle casting marks, and individual character are part of the nature of the piece. This is not a mass-produced desk toy — it is part sculpture, part mechanism, and part precision display.
